This wonderful 4 bedroom farmhouse style property is steeped with character features inside and out. A sweeping driveway leads you to the house. Exposed stonewalls create a warm and welcoming feel.
Moving inside, a large living room with high quality Mallorcan countryside furniture, log burning fireplace, all makes for a very comfortable stay. This leads through to the living room which is just as grand with ornate chandelier framing the table and chairs, all in-keeping with the style of the villa. There is a large air con unit in the centre of the villa , keeping the villa cool throughout . The kitchen is very well equipped with everything a chef would need and has a smaller table to take breakfast. Thanks to the stonewalls and high ceiling fans, the villa is cool throughout. You will find pieces of furniture doted around like the Grandfather clock and Gramophone adding to the feel and period as do the exposed beams, everything is in immaculate condition.
The villa's 4 bedrooms 1 x doubles and 3 rooms with 2 single beds , they are light in design. The master bedroom has a large sleigh bed, bright and airy and comes complete with en suite. The remaining bedrooms are similar in decor and have the high ceilings, exposed beams and large fans. The feature windows allow plenty of natural light to shine through. On the upstairs level there is also an 'open'room with a sofa bed which would be suitable for an extra 2 children.
The exterior of the villa is magical, a beautiful well maintained lawn leads down to the large ecologic swimming pool which is surrounded by a pretty stone terrace. The grounds are established and full of Mediterranean flowers, lemon, olive trees, orange groves and palms, a perfect place to sit and relax. There is plenty of space for the children to run around and play. A covered terrace with seating area and table gives shade from the hot sun and is also a perfect place to enjoy a meal with the family. The villa has a large BBQ to cook fresh produce from the market in Inca. If there are more active members of the party, the private tennis court, basketball and gym should keep them occupied! The villa also has 2 bicycles for those wishing to get out and explore the countryside surrounding the villa. The villa is located just a 5 minute drive from the popular area of Inca and just 20 minutes from Palma. Almost in the centre of the Island, half way between Palma and Alcudia and sits at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. Known as the 'city of leather' the town is steeped in history and is surrounded by gorgeous architecture. For the shoppers, there is a good selection of Boutiques and high street fashion shops. Plenty of cafes and cellar-restaurants ( these are the wine cellars - turned into restaurants ) which are well worth a visit. Inca is a residential area with excellent transport links to the rest of the island. The local market is held every Thursday, one of the largest markets on the island with fresh fruit/veg and of course leather!! The main square is called Placa d'Espanya and is home to the Town Hall, the Spanish steps and plenty of cafes to sit back and watch the World go by. Inca is a 30 minute drive from Palma airport.
